WHERE IT STARTED
Mini Monstars began in 2015 when Shane started running children’s Sports Programs with a simple goal: to help kids build confidence, coordination and a love of movement through fun, engaging sessions.
With a strong sporting background including being scouted at a young age for Cricket Victoria. Shane brought a deep understanding of motor skill development, teamwork and play based learning into early childhood settings.
Shortly after, his brother Joel joined the journey, launching the Mini Monstars Music Program. With a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Joel added a creative, rhythm based layer to the program that quickly became a favourite with children and educators alike.
Over the years, Mini Monstars has continued to grow, expanding into Yoga, Gymnastics and Sensory Programs, evolving into a holistic early childhood offering that supports physical, emotional and creative development, all built on the shared passion of two brothers creating meaningful experiences for kids.

What started as a single spark of joy has ignited a wave of positive impact, transforming everyday moments into milestones for countless children and their families. Our footprint is growing, but our mission remains singular: to build confidence, community, and unstoppable futures; one skill at a time.
From a single centre to a network of 196, our footprint now stretches across Australia, impacting thousands of families with our proven playbased philosophy. As we look ahead, our commitment to innovation continues. In 2026, we will launch a dedicated Sensory Program, opening new pathways for child development. Simultaneously, Shane is spearheading a comprehensive Coach Development Program, a new initiative to upskill our coaching team in crafting exceptional, high-quality sessions. Our growth is measured not just in locations, but in the elevated experiences we provide.
