SPORTS PROGRAM
Our Mini Monstars Sports Program is a leading kids incursion program designed for childcare centres, kindergartens, and early learning services across Australia. This multi-sport incursion introduces children to a variety of fun, engaging, and educational sports activities that support their physical, social, and emotional development.
Delivered by experienced and enthusiastic coaches, each session creates a fun, active, and inclusive learning environment that keeps both children and educators engaged. The program focuses on:

By partnering with Mini Monstars, childcare centres and kindergartens can provide a high-quality incursion experience that supports the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) outcomes while keeping children active, happy, and healthy.
Our Sports Program currently revolves around 8 sports. These Sports are:

Children learning AFL Football develop fundamental sport skills while enhancing motor abilities, coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Through kicking, marking, handballing, tackling, and teamwork, they also build communication and leadership skills.

Children learning basketball develop core sport skills while enhancing motor abilities, coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Through shooting, passing, dribbling, and teamwork, they also build vital life skills such as communication and cooperation.

Children in cricket develop key sport skills while enhancing coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Through batting, bowling, throwing, catching, and teamwork, they also build vital life skills such as communication, resilience, and cooperation/supporting growth both on and off the field.

Playing soccer helps children build fundamental skills while developing coordination, agility, and spatial awareness. Through kicking, passing, dribbling, and teamwork, they strengthen both their game techniques and life skills like communication, teamwork, and decision-making.

Playing rugby helps children build important skills while improving coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Through passing, tackling, and scoring, they develop motor skills, resilience, focus, and teamwork building discipline and perseverance both on and off the field.

Playing tennis helps children build key skills while improving coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Through serving, rallying, and volleying, they develop motor skills, resilience, focus, and sportsmanship, fostering discipline and perseverance both on and off the court.

Playing NFL helps children develop key skills while improving coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Through passing, tackling, and running routes, they build athletic ability, resilience, focus, and teamwork, fostering discipline and perseverance both on and off the field.

Playing hockey gives children an exciting way to build skills and confidence. While learning stickhandling, passing, shooting, and teamwork, they strengthen coordination, balance, and quick decision-making. The game promotes agility, focus, and strategy while also teaching resilience, leadership, and cooperation, helping kids grow both on and off the ice.

At Mini Monstars, we design special games and activities just for our nursery aged children to match their unique stage of development. Each game is carefully tailored to be simple, engaging, and movement-focused, helping little ones explore their bodies, build coordination, and gain confidence through play. We use bright colours, music, and imaginative themes to keep sessions fun and interactive while gently introducing the foundations of balance, movement, and teamwork.
Length of classes are usually as follows but we tailer our classes to suit each centres wants and needs.
Nursery - 10-15 minutes
Toddlers - 15-20 minutes
Pre Kindergarten - 30 minutes
Kindergarten - 30 minutes

AFL Football
Children participating in AFL will not only learn the fundamental skills of the sport, but they will also undergo comprehensive development in their motor skills and basic abilities. Through activities such as kicking, marking, handballing, tackling, and teamwork, young participants will not only refine their understanding of the game but also improve their coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Additionally, engagement in AFL fosters essential life skills like communication, leadership, and resilience, providing a holistic developmental experience for children.



Basketball
Children engaged in basketball will not only grasp the fundamental skills of the sport but also undergo comprehensive development in their motor skills and basic abilities. Through activities such as shooting, passing, dribbling, teamwork, and more, young participants will not only refine their understanding of the game but also improve their coordination, agility, and strategic thinking. Cricket

Children immersed in cricket will not only acquire the fundamental skills of the sport but also experience a holistic enhancement in their motor skills and basic abilities. Soccer
