Job Title: Mini Monstars Coach (Head Coach & Assistant Coach)

The Opportunity:

Become a superhero of movement! Mini Monstars seeks energetic coaches to deliver our signature sports, music, yoga, and gymnastics programs to children aged 0-5yrs. Through play-based learning, you'll help kids build skills, confidence, and lifelong love of activity.

 

 

Key Competencies & Responsibilities:

1. Dynamic Leadership & Presence

• Command attention with infectious energy while managing groups of 20+ children

• Adapt coaching style across sports, yoga and gymnastics disciplines

• Demonstrate activities with enthusiasm (yes, that means doing the bunny hops!)

2. Safety & Risk Management

• Conduct pre-session safety inspections of spaces and equipment

• Modify activities for different abilities and environments

• Maintain 100% visual supervision of participants at all times 

3. Inclusive Coaching

• Create welcoming environments for all skill levels

• Implement adaptive strategies for children needing extra support

• Celebrate progress through verbal praise and high-fives

4. Relationship Building

• Partner with educators to understand group needs

• Collaborate with coaching team to share best practices

5. Professional Standards

• Arrive 10 minutes early in full uniform (branded top + athletic bottoms)

• Complete all mandatory training modules/activities

• Submit accurate timesheets by fortnightly deadlines
